k9BOLX Spaghetti Worm Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Georgetown, KY Posts: 185 Karma: 13	Transfering tank contents I guess its no big surprise when someone says that they are thinking about upgrading!!! I currently have a 95 gallon, and have a naso tang. I figured that i woudl upgrade a few years down the line when she satrted to get a little larger. From my recent readings, it appears that they get very mentally stressd by a small tank which does not help their health. So I figure i need at least a 6 footer. Im probobly going to go with a 240; 72x30x24. So my questions are: what are the best ways to transfer everything? Can the live sand be transfered? or shall i just take a several scoops and add it to new sand in the new tank. If i transfer the live rock, do i still need to cycle the tank? can anyone outline the steps that would be best to follow.
