[Birchell]

Well I got some new clowns yesterday. I needed to find another male to go with my large female ocellaris, so I got a nice little purcula, lol. Ive heard this can be done so I thought I would give it a go. Ive never had a purc before so went for it. The little guy is doing great. Well better than I thought. I let them get the new fish anger out for a little bit by leaving the purc in the bag for like a hour ( I did put new water in the bag a few times dont worry ). When I took it out they did the spasim think right off the bat, and seem to hit things off really good. They were in the same nesting area last night, and are not fighting to bad today. LOL, better than she did with an ocellaris, . Im not sure how much black the purcs have, but I think this guys mite turn onyx, Ill just have to wait for him to mature...

In the other tank, I got my first fish for the 100 gallon. It has been like 2 1/2 weeks and the cycle finaly stopped. I went from none to a big one, so im glade its over. I went all out and got another pair of clowns. The large ( like 3-4 inches ) female tomato, and a small ( like 1-2 inches) male that almost looks like a cinnamon. I was kinda worried because ive never had tomato's or tried to pair them, but amazingly they too like each other very good. Better than the ocellaris and the purc. Within an hour the two were good to go. There was very little chasing. Im thinking the huge size difference made the difference. I just wish they would have chose a better spot to nest. They are behinde a rock, and only come out to eat, or just to see what im doing. I guess ill see what they do in the future, I hope they get more friendly. I took some pics, but it is so hard to get the clowns to be still. Even with my new camera, it is had to tell, lol. Oh well they will get their pic taken again and hopfully it will be better,
