I know the butterfly fish is not very "reef safe", but my question is.... Do you know of any corals that I can keep that the blackback butterfly won't harm? This was the last fish that I was going to put in the tank and then I wanted to start putting coral in, but if the butterfly will kill everything I put it, that's just sad.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Short answer for that butterfly "No". Only butterfly I have ever kept with corals is the Australian copper band. Noe just any pacific ne either just the ones from the waters around Australia . I once questioned this myself and just put a copper band in a reef LOL he went to work as if he was pre-programmed (: Like was his job to eat my corals LOL he had to go..
