Sorry it has been a while since I posted.

I did remove the tubing between the outlet and flow control. The flow control is now underwater...no improvements unfortunately.

This JEBO is WAY to sensitive to water level fluctuations. The skimmer foams either way too much, flooding the collection cup in seconds, or it doesn't foam enough at all. I've tried tweaking this thing every which way I can; crimping the air tube, uncrimping the air tube, knotting the air tube, loosening the knotted air tube...everything. I think I've gotten MAYBE one good day of skimming. I’m so frustrated. I'm going to junk this thing and save up for a better one. One that isn't so temperamental. What would be a much better, quality skimmer and how much it should cost?

37 Gallon marine tank. 20 lbs. live sand, a few pieces of live rock. TidePool 125 gallon filter, Coralife Super Skimmer, Coralife combo lighting (acitinic, 50/50, 10K (65 watt)), standard in tank heater.
