Also, is it expensive? I have been adding Lugol's solution for a year now and never thought to test since basically using the minimum dosage...Since I have two different kinds of Xenia, a toadstool leather(sarcophyton), peppermint and fire shrimp, I think it would be beneficial for me to get an iodine test kit. What is a good level for iodine in a reef tank? The other question I have is regarding water hardness. My water is around 350(GH). It should be under 200!!YIKES!!!What is the best product to use to lower my hardness? My calcium is also very high>about 500, which I think has something to do with it.
