I know a lot of people may disagree, but I really haven't found much difference between 76 and 81. Everything seems to be fine, all other things considered, between those temps. I would be worried though if you are outside those perameters for any significant time. Anyway, I do not think you should lower your temp if everything seems fine. Just for info, I believe there was a poll about 2 weeks ago asking where everyone keeps their temp, if you search, I'm sure you can find it to see what everyone uses.
