They are excellent for keeping the sand stirred but are almost invisible when buried in the sand. They are very, very light colored. I also have a green brittle star. He ate my very slow moving (fat) lawnmower blenny. But I have a very quick blenny now, and the green brittle star hasn't been a problem since. _________ 55 gal, pengiun 330 (no bio wheels), 85 lbs fiji & tonga LR, 3" DSB, Prizm Protein Skimmer, Coralife Lunar Power Compact (w/ 4 moon lights), Maxi-Jet 2100 PH, Aquaclear 402 & 201 PHs, mushrooms, green star polyps, Coral Beauty, Yellow Tang, 3-stripe & Yellowtail Damsels, Percula Clownfish, Hawaiian Zebra Hermit Crab, Blue leg hermits, Green Brittle Star, & still growing. 1 year experience.
