Ever see what a heater can do to a tank if it malfunctions. I had one sized to my tank and it shorted out. When i got home from work my tank was almost 130F, lost 90% of my tank, only thing that lived was my two clowns. Happened at my LFS also. So i always recommend two smaller heaters.
