Mine gobble up whatever falls into them and cant escape ie afew good asized shrimp and could certainly do away with a small scooter. Also scooters are prone to dissapearance as puffer_lover said, as theycan feed off pods alone in a mature system. Gives em the ability to hole up for weeks. I'm not sure if water quality would take a big hit form a small scooter ina 40, i doubt it. I wouldnt stress over it too much regaurdless of what happened to him as i dont think he'll really affect the whole tank. _________ Yes, tiny has an 11" legspan......
