Hi all!
I think Bob 8228 may be a bit more sensitive than others, being he is in Malaysia. I am sure there are plenty of people around the world who could have cared less that we had planes fly into civilian buildings here, yet our world stood still for many many weeks and months. I am sure the same holds true for this devastation.
I don't think there is any problem with asking the question, however. After all, our hobby is an industry with many things impacting it. Weather, ethics, overcollection, methods of collection, etc.
I am interested in discussion of all types...It pains me to hear of the collectors and such - I understand that these people work very hard to put food on the table for their families. And we do not often think of that when we make our purchases.
Why is a fish $50 or $100 dollars? What went into delivering a fish to the US market? People risk their lives every day to do just that for the aquarium trade.
Thank you Gresham for the updates, and I am interested in knowing how things pan out over there. I am keeping all persons in my prayers and thoughts
