There are people in this hobby who advocate NOT keeping anemone. Their arguments are pretty compelling. One of the tings I read was a survey where they found that noone with less than two years experience in the hobby had kept an anemone more than 12 months. Dead in less than a year. It was not untli the hobby experience curve went beyone 5 years befor people were able to keep them for two years. I don't believe they had more than a couple of old timmers with 15+ years of experience who had been able to keep an anemone more than 5 years. That and the real possibility that the one that you are buying could be more than 100 years old might cause one to contemplate keeping anemone.
That doesn't mean I won't have one, but it is a thought provoking read.
