Just found out from rodger that this unit will remove the albumin more slowly than other skimmers as their design tends to remove plant matter preferentially and long term against skimmers that remove proteins preferentially the result is lower phosphate water while the competitor will have lower nitrate water. which to me sounds great but how do i combat the nitrate??
