"ONE CAUTION: many zooanthids, especially Palythoas, contain palytoxin, a very potent poison. Make sure you don't get zooanthid juice in cuts, eyes, mouth etc as some of these guys could actually kill you. Fortunately, the colorful Zooanthus have much less palytoxin in them, but assume they all can kill you and you won't get careless with any of them."
This is a borrowed quote. But in my research I have found nothing to disprove it. This is a powerful complex toxin with no cure. Do a search on Google to learn more.
