I would use a dsb and live rock a good skimmer and get the lighting cranked up. You may want to add a refugium at the same time as its is easier to build and adjust when everything is dry. I would also suggest to add an under the cabinet fluorescent light in your sump I won't put a setup together without one its an easy way to see and watch the workings in the sump area. They are about $15 and much easier then holding a flashlight. I also mount all my power strips high in the cabinet so they stay dry in case of leaks. I would put all your lights on timers much easier to regulate that way. i would also get tubs now and premix your water and salt so it is ready to go. I fill the overflow chamber halfway before filling the tank to check that the bulkheads are seated properly. Also you may want to pick up a piece of 1 inch PVC you will need it to connect the hose from the bulkhead to your sump AGA in their ultimate wisdom doesn't include this with the overflow kit.
